The end of the football season brought us Super Bowl 39, which was less than thrilling for me. I could not get excited about either team, especially the Patriots. Though I did try to cheer on the Eagles, the game seemed really lackluster and flat. Even the commercials did not seem quite as good as usual. Only two caught my eye. The Anheuser-Busch Tribute to the Troops was the best of the lot. Very well done. My second favorite was made by the NFL, with Joe Montana and Ben Roethlesberger of the Steelers singing "Tomorrow", and turning cartwheels! Now, that is a good commercial! Imaginative and funny. Maybe next year will bring a team other than the Patriots (dare I mention the Colts?).
