Tonight's part 2 of the continued episode of Star Trek: Enterprise was a letdown. I liked part 1 so much last week, I was really looking forward to this. The rather confusing story seemed to be an amalgam of at least two different episodes of the original Star Trek series: Mirror, Mirror; and the episode where Captain Kirk (William Shatner) is split into two parts, the good side of him and the bad side (I can't remember the title), plus bits and pieces of other episodes. Captain Archer (Scott Bakula) even wore a shirt like Kirk wore in the good/bad parts episode, the wrap-shirt with the vneck that fastened at the side of the waist with the Enterprise logo. The rest of the cast wore versions of the original show uniforms, and the interior of the captured ship looked like the original Enterprise, also. The story itself, as I said above, was confusing and rather uninteresting, but I was not feeling well while watching it, so perhaps the confusion was due to that. I will watch it again tomorrow night (it is shown again on Saturday night here), and tape it. Hope it proves to be better than my impression tonight.
