The College of Saint Elizabeth seeks an Acquisitions/Technical Services Assistant to work in the Mahoney Library under the direct supervision of the Head of Technical Services. Assist the Cataloging/Technical Services Assistant with placement of orders and checking shipments, help with vendor correspondence, aid in processing of cataloged items, withdrawal of library materials, and supervision of a student worker as needed, and notification to faculty when items have been processed.
The candidate should possess a high school diploma, have previous library or office experience, possess good organizational skills with strong attention to detail, solid interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, and have a working knowledge of MS Word. Must be able to work in an automated environment.
