High school or equivalent. 3 years related experience*, including 1 year of library experience. 60 credit hours of college substitute for 1 year experience. Bachelor's degree substitutes for 2 years experience. *Related experience includes performing functions which involve data interpretation, information provision, customer service, data input, problem resolution and a variety of complex clerical procedures. These duties may have been performed in a library, office or other appropriate setting. For public service positions, involving direct patron interaction, customer service experience is given additional weight.
