Americana, including rare books, pamphlets, almanacs, and periodicals
documenting the discovery and settlement of America, the colonial and

Job Description:
The New-York Historical Society is seeking a cataloging assistant to
perform copy cataloging on the N-YHS collection of rare books, pamphlets,

available records and review bibliographic information. He/she will revise
and update bibliographic records, create holdings records in BobCat, verify
call numbers in online and card shelflists, and modify them if needed.
He/she will also assist with various inventory control and database
